Weapon Choice Tutorial

In Assault Cube, the weapon you choose to fight with is essential to game play, and whether or not you want to admit it, the weapon choice can make or break a player.
Why it is important:
The simple fact is, different weapons fit different situations and styles of playing the game. If you are a more hands on, in your face type of player, the shotgun might suit you. However, if you are obsessed with the precision of your weapon, you might want to go with the sniper rifle. In this tutorial, we will cover all the weapons and Assault Cube and what they are good for.
The types of weapons:
Assault Rifle: The assault rifle is not a very good choice for any type of player. It has many flaws that make it a poor weapon. It does not fire as fast as the machine gun, nor does it have as many rounds. It can not aim like the sniper rifle, and it does not carry the blunt force you can wield with a shotgun. Overall, a terrible weapon that should never be used, in any circumstances.
Sub-Machine Gun: The sub-machine gun is probably one of the best guns in the game, not only because of its rate of fire, but also because of the large amount of rounds it carries. However, it does have one flaw, which is the recoil. This weapon has the highest recoil of any gun in the game, and new players may not be able to handle this gun without it flailing out of control. Good choice for veteran players who can handle it.
Sniper Rifle: The sniper rifle - which is a commonly used due to its suitability in the "One Shot, One Kill" game mode - is a good weapon, with a few downfalls. The great thing about this gun is that it can kill in enemy in one shot, when used right. Pay attention to that last sentence, WHEN USED RIGHT! If not used correctly, or without the scope, the rifle is terribly inaccurate and takes forever to reload. Probably best used by veteran players who have good aim.
Shotgun: The shotgun is not a personal favorite of mine, nor is it widely used in the game. It is disliked because it does not have great aim or reload speed. But, if you are able to get very close to your target, this gun is extremely effective because of the blunt force factor. Works best when used by veteran players.
Swiss Knife: The swiss knife is an amazing weapon, when used under the right conditions. The knife is probably not that effective in a gun fight, but if you are sneaking up behind an enemy, or playing in "Last Swiss Standing" game mode, it is a wonderful choice.
Pistol: The pistol is the least effective weapon out of the whole bunch. It only works well in VERY close combat and should not be used at all unless your primary rifle has run out of ammo.
Grenade: Grenades are commonly used in Assault Cube, and you can always tell you've been hit by one when the death message comes up as "You've been gibbed by..." instead of "You've been fragged by...". The grenades have great long-range effectiveness, but do not explode the moment they leave you hand, so your enemy has time to move. You must be careful not to hit your teammates when using this weapon.
Note: Even though I did my best to describe and suggest a weapon to you, weapons are a personal preference and must be chosen by the individual player.
